Booth, 18, was arrested at a party in the 28300 block of Oak Springs Road at 3 a.m. Saturday, hours after he and an undisclosed number of accomplices allegedly robbed a man in the Bridgeport community, said Lt. Mark Hershey of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Booth allegedly pointed a gun at a pedestrian, robbed the victim and escaped on foot, Hershey said. The victim was not hurt in the altercation, Hershey said.
Deputies searched the area and couldn’t find Booth, he said. The suspect attended a party in Sand Canyon that ended after an altercation sent two victims to the hospital, one with a stab wound, the other with a gunshot wound, Hershey said.
Booth was not involved in the stabbing, but deputies stopped him after they saw Booth leaving the party, Hershey said.
Booth was arrested and charged with robbery. Deputies are not releasing a description or any information on the other suspects pending a further investigation, Hershey said.
Booth is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
