A broken joint on a water line at the Saugus Water Reclamation Plant caused a tall geyser of water that was visible from Bouquet Canyon Road on Tuesday morning. The water line gushed for about an hour, witnesses said. All the water traveled into on-plant storm drains, and will be reused. The water line is used to wash tanks in the plant, according to a Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts official.
