Ever wonder what it would be like to see the headless horseman of Sleepy Hollow?

Well you’ll get that chance should you find yourself at the Tait Trout Ranch in Frazier Park beginning 11 a.m. Saturday. Along with the short segment on the Washington Irving classic, there will be a host of other colonial-themed activities. Other entertainment includes musicians, storytellers, naturalists, horse logging, dirt skiing, and a jousting performance. There will be a variety of fun contests that patrons of all ages can watch or compete in. They include log chopping, archery, sack racing, firewood splitting and the colonial game of ninepins. Food, beverages and crafts will also be available.

This event, produced by the American Jousting Alliance will be held at the picturesque Tait Trout Ranch.. The event runs 11 a.m. till dusk.

The Tait Ranch is located about 3 miles west of the Frazier Park off ramp of Interstate 5. Children 5 and under free. (661) 245-4000, www.jameszoppe.com.
