It all begins tonight, with the sunset wine dinner and balloon glow - and continues through the rest of the evening and on through Saturday and Sunday. There will be novel attractions, celebrity appearances and majestic hot air balloons at the fourth annual Citrus Classic Balloon Festival, July 29 through 31, in Santa Paula.
On Saturday, Sunrise Balloons are presented by Ventura Ranch KOA, including a mass balloon ascension, and tethered balloon rides are available. There will be a Zest for Life 5K & 1 Mile Family Fun Run, plus Zipline rides, a rock climbing wall, inflatables, live music, beer tastings, food vendors and more.
On Sunday there will be food trucks and celebrities join the festivities at noon for the Jim Colborn Celebrity Exhibition Game, with Tommy Lasorda, Eric Gagne, Maury Wills and others. Festival-goers relax with the final afternoon concert by The Long Run - Experience the Eagles.
