I'm writing to voice my opposition to Proposition 8, which would take away the right of same-sex couples to marry. I'm not gay, but I believe the law should treat people equally.

Put yourselves in the shoes of gay couples who would have their marriage rights ripped away from them by Prop. 8.

You could just as easily have been born like them. How would you feel if the government broke up your marriage to the one you love?

Vote no on Prop. 8.
