Mission Valley Bank is celebrating its 10th anniversary in July. To mark the occasion, the bank is donating $10,000 to nonprofit organizations in the Santa Clarita Valley area.

Headquartered in Sun Valley, Mission Valley Bank has two other branches located in Valencia and Santa Clarita. Opening for business in 2001, the bank opened its latest branch in the Centre Pointe office park in 2007.

Tamara Gurney, president and CEO, will be presenting 20 charities with contributions of $1,000 each as the bank’s way of thanking our community for its success, said Carrie Burrell, vice president, marketing manager.

Ten San Fernando Valley charities will receive $10,000 at the bank’s July 21 anniversary celebration.

In August, Mission Valley Bank will donate an additional $10,000 to 10 local SCV charities in an event at its Valencia branch.

Locally, Mission Valley Bank is a sponsor and partner of the Small Business Development Center at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita.
