Brush fire burns 5 acres off Bouquet

A brush fire broke out at 3:37 p.m. Saturday in Leona Valley off Bouquet Canyon Road. By 4:45 p.m., Angeles Forest and Los Angeles County firefighters had knocked the fire down after it blackened five acres. Winds blew at 10 to 15 miles per hour but no structures were threatened, according to a Los Angeles Country Fire captain.
