The Signal
I just read that State Senate candidate Tony Strickland received the endorsement of the Ventura Chamber of Commerce. The article included the California Chamber ratings for both Strickland and his opponent, Hannah-Beth Jackson. During their final year in the legislature, Strickland received a 100 percent rating from the chamber and Jackson had an abysmal 6.67 percent. At a time when local businesses struggle to survive and keep people employed, how can we afford to elect someone with such a poor record of supporting local businesses? We need someone who will put our state back on the right track and create an environment in which businesses can thrive. Vote for Tony Strickland on Nov. 4 and get our state back on the right track.
