Valencia High graduate Danny Worth was sent down by the Detroit Tigers to Triple-A Toledo on Thursday to make room for veteran infielder Brandon Inge, who had been on the disabled list.

Worth had been with the Tigers since May 27 and played in 17 games. He batted .310 with three RBIs.

The 2004 Valencia grad and infielder played in all three game of this week's interleague series with the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.

He went 0-for-8 in those games.

Check back with Signal Sports on Saturday for a story and video on Worth.

In a story that will be published, Worth details the difficulty of sticking with a Major League team and in a video, we do an interview with Worth in the seats at Dodger Stadium where his father once had season tickets.
