Summertime is outdoor music time in the Santa Clarita Valley. On Friday nights you've got both the Lexus of Valencia Jazz and Blues Concert Series and concerts at the Valencia Marketplace Amphitheater. On Saturday nights it's the larger events at Central Park and on Sundays you can chill out in Ventura Harbor Village. Even the Westfield Valencia Town Center will rock you on Tuesdays in July. At all these venues top-shelf artists from multiple genres bring you their best, including blues, jazz, classic rock, surf sounds and tribute bands. There's no doubt, this summer is going to rock!

The free annual concert series begins July 9 and runs through Aug. 27, with all shows starting Saturdays at 7 p.m. at Central Park.

The concerts are held on Town Center Drive, adjacent to the Hyatt Regency Valencia, where the street is blocked off, creating a street-party atmosphere. In addition to the extraordinary sounds offered by some of the top jazz and blues recording artists in the world, the scheduled series will bring a variety of interactive programming for the entire family, as well as a variety of food and beverages, including wine and beer for the adults. No pets or outside food or beverages are allowed. Admission is free.
