Santa Clarita Christian has come to expect a lot out of its athletic programs.

After all, the football team entered the year as the two-time defending CIF-Southern Section Division I 8-Man champions.

The program got to the semfinals in the 2010-11 season, but it came up short trying to win another 8-man title.

Next season, it won’t have the chance to. The football team will play 11-man in the fall of 2011.
