Susan Egan's 'Cabaret on Stage' performance tonight at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons is sold out.

"An Evening with Susan Egan," which opens the "Cabaret on Stage" series tonight at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons, is sold out.

Cabaret on Stage transforms the PAC's main stage into an intimate cabaret-style nightclub of the '20s and '30s, with live performers, candle-lit tables, drinks and light gourmet fare.

All 150 seats available for tonight's performance sold out in advance.

"We couldn't be more excited than to have a sold-out house tonight as we launch this new format, transforming the Performing Arts Center into a cabaret," said Adam Philipson, PAC managing director. "With the tables and chairs on stage with the great Susan Egan, it will create such an intimate experience for our guests."

Recognized by fans and critics alike as one of the most professional singers and performers in entertainment, Egan has excelled in theatre as well as film, television and music.

She starred on Broadway as Thoroughly Modern Millie, won critical acclaim as Broadway's (longest-running) Sally Bowles in "Cabaret," and received Tony Award and Drama Desk nominations for Best Actress as the original "Belle" in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast."

Egan has more than 40 recording credits including five solo CDs, and was named Best Vocalist of the Year by

"I'm thrilled to be opening the 'Cabaret on Stage' series at the PAC," Egan said.

The next Cabaret on Stage event is Valentine's Day, Saturday, Feb. 14, when the PAC presents "An Enchanted Evening: The Music of Broadway featuring Lee Lessack & Joanne O'Brien." The duo will perform Broadway favorites from enduring standards by Rodgers & Hammerstein to more recent classics by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Sections A and B of the onstage seating are already sold out; seating is still available in Sections CR and CL.

Philipson expects this performance to sell out as well. "We only have a few seats left," he said.
