Drugs, firearms, stolen property and counterfeit bills were among the items seized during a recent raid on a Canyon Country house. Seven suspects were arrested.

Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in Santa Clarita descended on the house on Rainbow Glen near Sierra Highway to execute a search warrant for drugs Thursday, Sgt. Michael Konecny said Saturday.

Deputies discovered  a number of “items of interest,” he said.

Also, a 10-year-old boy was taken into protective custody. His parents were charged with child endangerment.

“There was a forced entry to the house due to a person attempting to flee,” Konecny said.

Detectives from specialized crime branches, including those from the Juvenile Team and the Narcotics Team, found a motorcycle identified as having been stolen, heroin and counterfeit money, along with $2,000 worth of stolen irrigation valves.
Also seized were heroin, methamphetamines, a zip gun, a loaded semi-automatic pistol, fraudulent identification and computers containing what appeared to be identity-theft and credit-card-fraud information, according to deputies.

Seven people were arrested and charged, Konecny said.

Charges include possession of burglary tools, fraudulent checks, methamphatines, heron, drug paraphernalia and stolen property, as well as grand theft, possession of fraudulent checks, a felon in possession of ammunition and a felon in possession of a firearm.
