Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department asked for the public’s help Wednesday in finding a Santa Clarita couple believed missing since Saturday.

Renata and Dusan Klein, both 59, last spoke to friends at 7 p.m. Saturday and left their home in a gold 1999 Jeep Cherokee with California license plate 4FLN519, according to an alert released by the Sheriff’s Department.

Family members are concerned and asking for the public’s assistance, the alert states.

The couple apparently had their 10-year-old black-and-white cocker spaniel, Cindy, with them.

Dusan Klein is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Renata Klein is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Their Jeep has a sticker on the rear window that reads “American Travel.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Missing Persons Detail of the Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
