The Los Angeles county Board of Supervisors are poised to hand over three County-owned park properties to the city of Santa Clarita.

The board approved a recommendation made at the county board meeting Tuesday to sell Chesebrough Park and the Northbridge County Park - as well as the undeveloped park property at Summerhill — to the city of Santa Clarita.

The areas had already been annexed to the city by the Los Angeles County Local Agency Formation Commission.

Supervisors approved the transfer of the county’s right, title and interest in the parks to the city of Santa Clarita.
