Twelve William S. Hart Union High School District high school teachers have been selected to read and score the College Board’s Advanced Placement exams.

The teachers join an estimated 10,000 other A.P. readers from across the country who have been honored with the opportunity.

The A.P. program allows students to take college-level courses in high school.

Students who pass the end-of-the-year A.P. test may earn college credit.

Last year, 2,710 Hart District students took 4,499 tests, meaning some students took multiple subject tests.
