"Psst! Hey, kid!"
"Wha- What? Who are you?"
"Heh-heh. Why are you sad?"
"Because everybody in Santa Clarita wants a new hospital, but we can't afford it."
"I can help you."
"You can? How?"
"Heh-heh-heh. Come with me and I'll show you something."
"But I've been told not to go with a stranger."
"I'm not a 'stranger.' I just don't live here or care about the same things you do, like whether you'll have terrible traffic gridlock or what neighbors think or how home prices will be affected."
"Then why should I listen to you?"
"Because I have a solution that will help both of us. I'll make lots of money and you get to be the hero by telling people that you've come up with a way to erect an affordable hospital addition."
"Tell me more!"
"I will build several office buildings and parking structures on the limited space on the existing hospital campus, which will help me, and then I will promise to build their addition. Of course, that will be many years down the line, but they will be all excited thinking about the hospital addition."
"That doesn't sound totally ethical. You said I will promise to build, not I will build."
"Tsk! Tsk! Kid, listen to me. Remember we both win. I make lots of money and you get to tell the people of the SCV that you've got a solution to their problem. Deal?"
"Deal!"
