The Master's College men's golf team finished tied for 12th place at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics championships.

The NAIA No. 15-ranked Mustangs posted a four-day team total of 1,207 strokes, which was bested by tournament-winner Oklahoma Christian, which secured the crown on Friday with an 1,150 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.

TMC was led by sophomore John Lawson, who carded a 301 total score, or 17-over at the par-71 course.

Senior Kevin Anderson followed closely at 302, and freshman Thane Ringer came in at 303.

Andrew Bergoon (312) and Michael Reitz (314) rounded out the five qualifying golfers for the Mustangs.

The tournament marked the end of Anderson's four-year career on the team. He is TMC's only senior.
