The man, believed to be in his 50s, was in a mobile home at the Mulberry Mobile Home Park located at 25000 Hawkbryn Ave. in Newhall when the mobile home ignited just after 8 p.m., Lt. Joe Efflandt of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station said. One dog also died in the fire, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.
