A 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism at about 8 a.m. Wednesday for allegedly shooting out windows at Saugus High School with a pellet gun earlier this week, officials said.
The teen, whose name was not released, was identified by investigators through the use of surveillance cameras at the school, Lt. Bill Weiss of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station said.
The cost of the damage is estimated at about $2,000. Information on when the teen shot out the windows, where he was arrested or how many windows were damaged was not immediately available, Weiss said.
