The Santa Clarita Sheriff's Station and the city of Santa Clarita team up again for another Safe & Secure Community Collection event on Saturday, May 21.

The event will take place at College of the Canyons in parking lot No. 8 -- north side of the stadium -- from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This free community collection event includes destruction of items in your home such as personal documents, electronic waste and prescription medication disposal. Residents can protect their identities, keep unwanted perscription drugs out of the reach of children and help protect the enviorment.
