Wear short shorts on Saturday

I read in The Signal Wednesday that Magic Mountain has asked its employees to wear long pants to cover their legs on Muslim Family Day.

I must have missed Jewish Family Day, on which I am sure management asked all male employees to wear Yarmulkes out of respect for the Jewish faith, Mormon Family Day, where I am sure that management didn't serve any beverages containing caffeine out of respect for Mormon beliefs or. ... This list could go on, but the pure stupidity of these ideas boggles the mind.

This country is beyond a doubt the most religiously tolerant society on the planet. To suggest we need to alter our behavior so as not to offend any religion is utter insanity.

In Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen, Jordan, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia (to name a few), not only do these Muslim countries not worry about offending a Christian, most won't allow Christians to practice their religion inside their borders.

We, on the other hand, allow every type of religion to openly practice and promote their beliefs.
On that day, I think all Magic Mountain employees should wear short shorts.

If any Muslims are offended - see the list of countries above as potential emigration opportunities: They will most assuredly be much more Muslim friendly, just not more freedom friendly.
