Mustangs dominate Eagles

Three women each score one goal

The Master's College women's soccer team went on the road to take its Golden State Athletic Conference opener on Saturday, winning 3-0 over Biola University in La Mirada.

Midfielder Andie Reyes, forward Katie McMannis and Emily Bruton each scored one goal for the Mustangs (1-0 in GSAC, 6-2 overall).

The Master's team had five shots on goal to Biola's one.

McMannis scored her third goal of the season in the 12th minute for a 1-0 lead.

Reyes scored her first goal this season in the 48th minute, on an assist by Emily Bruton.

Bruton tacked on another score in the 67th.

The Master's College women's soccer team plays its conference home opener at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Reese Field against Westmont College.
