Cell Phones For Soldiers
The Hart High School cheerleaders are sponsoring the Cell Phones For Soldiers drive. Every cell phone turned in will be exchanged for a pre paid phone card and sent to U.S. Troops overseas through the non-profit organization Cell Phones For Soldiers. Bring your old cell phones to any home Hart football game and drop them off at the Hart Cheer booth. Phones can also be dropped off in the Hart H. S. Administration office until the end of the year. REP presents ‘Of Mice and Men'
The Repertory East Playhouse continues its Main Stage Series with John Steinbeck's classic, "Of Mice and Men." The production will run through Oct. 18. Assistance League meetings are the first Wednesday of the month at the Valencia Hills Clubhouse, 24060 Oak Vale Drive, Valencia. The Santa Clarita Valley Interfaith Council will host a community forum on Proposition 8 - "Same Sex Marriage Initiative: Where Religion and Politics Intersect."
