Local Boy Scout David Nguyen plans to produce at least 50 blankets to donate to Project Linus for his Eagle Scout project, set for April 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Nguyen still needs fleece and completed blankets (minimum size of 1.5 x 1.5 yards each), snacks and water bottles for volunteers, fabric scissors, and measuring tape or other measuring tools to complete his project.

Project Linus is a nonprofit organization which provides blankets to poor children with few possessions.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints: Mint Canyon Ward Bishop's Office is located at 27050 Sand Canyon Road, Canyon Country 91387.
