Local scout calls for supplies for April 16 Eagle Rank project

Local Boy Scout David Nguyen plans to produce at least 50 blankets to donate to Project Linus for his Eagle Scout project, set for April 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Nguyen still needs fleece and completed blankets (minimum size of 1.5 x 1.5 yards each), snacks and water bottles for volunteers, fabric scissors, and measuring tape or other measuring tools to complete his project.

Project Linus is a nonprofit organization which provides blankets to poor children with few possessions.
