At 8:30 a.m. M-W-F, we’re movin’ and groovin’, steppin’ and sweatin’ to the beat with ACE Certified Exercise Specialist Linda Bennett. We’re the new and improved “middle age” 50-plus active adults. The program encompasses functional fitness – moves are designed to simulate ADLs (activities of daily living), and sports moves like golf, tennis, and skiing. We do cardiovascular training, muscle and bone building, core stabilization, and spatial awareness for balance – all within one hour. If you’re not quite ready for the fast and furious fitness, at 9:45 a.m. there is a great 30-minute chair class that will suit you. Call the Senior Center at 259-9444, or Linda Bennett at 993-3969.
