Robert and Carol Johnson, of Saugus, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Stacey Johnson to Shawn Grogan, of Saugus.

The bride-elect is the sister of Gregg Johnson (Melissa) and the granddaughter of Mary Heathcote, of Ventura.

She was born in Burbank, and has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since age 5. She is a 1993 graduate of Saugus High School and a 1998 graduate of California State University, Northridge where she earned her B.A. in history. For the last several years she has worked in human resources. In her spare time, she likes to hang out with family and friends especially her nephews Trent and Blake Johnson.

The groom-elect is the son of Johnetta Heisel, of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Ronald Grogan of Wis. and the brother of Jason Grogan (Kelly), of Pittsburgh, Pa. He is the grandson of Helen Heisel, of Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born in Green Bay, Wis., and moved to Pittsburgh, Pa., at age 2. He moved to California four years ago. He is a die-hard Pittsburgh Steeler and Pittsburgh Penguins fan. He currently is the operations manager at Becore Promotions in Los Angeles. 

The couple became engaged on March 20, 2010, and plan an April 16 wedding at the Valencia Country Club.
