West Ranch girls golfer Sarah Kang was the lone medalist on Wednesday, but the Wildcats lost to Quartz Hill, 269-220, at Woodley Lakes Golf Course in Van Nuys.
Kang shot a 5-over 42 on the par-37 course. Diana Park shot a 51 over nine holes.
West Ranch's next golf match is on Wednesday, a Foothill League match at El Cariso Golf Course in Sylmar.
