This year's SCV Dodger Day is slated for Saturday, May 14 at 4 p.m. in Los Angeles.

The city of Santa Clarita's 34th annual SCV Dodger Day is set for Saturday, May 14 at 4 p.m.

The Dodgers will play against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Dodger Stadium, located at 1000 Elysian Park Ave. in Los Angeles.

Ticket prices for Santa Clarita Valley residents are reduced. Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit local schools and nonprofit groups.

Auditions should be submitted on VHS or DVD. They cannot be professionally recorded or edited in a studio. Entries should also include a short bio of the singer, including background and singing experience.

Entries are due before 5 p.m. on Friday, April 15. Submissions will not be returned.

The winner of the award will receive four game tickets, on-field acknowledgment and the opportunity to throw the ceremonial first pitch before the game. All adults and school-aged children are eligible to participate.

Nominate a person online at or by filling out a nomination form. Copies of the form are available at the Santa Clarita Activities Center, Santa Clarita City Hall, Hart Baseball, the Chamber of Commerce, The Signal and KHTS AM-1220.

Entries are due before 5 p.m. on Friday, April 15.

The Dodger Stadium Express Service Bus returns this year with expanded late-night service to Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.

Buses will run between Union Station and Dodger Stadium every 10 minutes prior to the start of the game on May 14 and will continue to run every 30 minutes throughout the event.
