When I grow up, I want to be a plastic surgeon or something in the medical field. When you work as a doctor or nurse, you take on a big responsibility. However, I think I can handle it.

There are pros and cons to having this job. Some of the pros are making tons of money and seeing the smiles on your patients’ faces once you’re done operating on them. One con is that you have to go to school for a long time. But the outcome is worth it.

People in my grade may say that being a plastic surgeon is nerdy or not important. To me, being a plastic surgeon is a job that changes many people’s lives. If someone got burned in a fire or even wants a nose job, a plastic surgeon can help. Imagine how happy a little boy would be once he actually has skin on his face again.

I’ve gone to school for seven years, and I’m not going to waste that education.

I want to become a chef when I grow up. I think that a chef is a cool job because you get to explore new flavors and cultures from different areas.

Since I was little, I always liked to help my mom cook dinner. In my free time, I always watch my favorite show, “Giada at Home,” on the Food Network. During spring break last year, I had the chance to meet my idol, Giada De Laurentiis. I got to take a picture with her and got her book signed. And when my aunt visits from Maryland, I always get a chance to help her with cooking. Last Thanksgiving, we cooked three different stuffings, two turkeys and five different types of pie.

Every time I cook, it always puts a smile on my face, and that’s why I want to become a chef.

When I grow up, I want to be a paleontologist because I am very fascinated by dinosaurs and prehistoric animals. Ever since the age of 3, I’ve always wanted to become a paleontologist.

Sometimes for fun, I would save up chicken bones and clean them. Then I would bury them in the sandbox and carefully dig them out with a paintbrush and my dad’s chisel the next day.

I’ve always loved anything related to dinosaurs, including movies such as “Walking with the Dinosaurs” and “Walking with Prehistoric Beasts.” My life’s goal is to discover a new species of dinosaur.

When I grow up, I want to be a teacher, because I would like to teach. Each student will have an education by me teaching them. I think when I apply to be a teacher, I would go with grateful kids I can actually help. When I am done with studying, it will be time to get the kids learning. When I become a teacher, all the students will know things.

What do I want to be when I grow up? There are so many choices.

But if there was one thing I wanted to be, it would be a backup singer and guitar player in a band. My reasoning? Well, I’ve always been interested in music, but especially the guitar.

My music idols have always been guitar players, and that is one of many reasons why I want to be a guitar player.
My reasoning for wanting to be a backup singer is because I’ve always had a knack for singing, and I love it. But I don’t want to be a lead singer because I feel that it would be too much pressure. So to sum this up, when I grow up, I want to be a backup singer and guitar player in a band.

There are a lot of things I could be when I grow up. A firefighter, policewoman or even a doctor, but I want to be a dancer.

I can picture myself on the stage with large amounts of people from all over the world cheering my name as I’m completing my routine. The main reason I would like to be a dancer is because dancing is a passion of mine.

All of my troubles vanish when I’m dancing, and I feel like I’m in another galaxy. I love to dance, and I can see myself doing it forever.

When I grow up, I want to be a teacher of science. I want to be a teacher for science because I love to teach, and I like science because it teaches me new things about the world, so when I get older I can invent new things. I love to teach because when the kids I teach get older, they can combine all the things I have taught them and make an invention. That is why I want to be a teacher for science.

When I grow up, I want to help. I want to help little kids learn art. I want to be a dance teacher.

I take all styles of dance offered at my dance studio: tap, jazz, ballet, technique, hip-hop, team, tumbling and contortion. The reason I want to become a dance teacher is I love to dance, love little kids and would love to spread my passion for dance to everybody.

Dance is just like painting; you need to be creative to do both. I cannot wait to teach kids creativity with their bodies.
On Saturdays, I assist a tumbling/dance class that has first- through fourth-graders. I love to help them tumble and dance, and it brings me joy as I assist them. That is why I would like to be a dance teacher.

When I grow up, I want to be a lawyer because I could help people fight for what’s right in court. Even though someone did something wrong, I would be determined like a lawyer. That’s what I think a hardworking lawyer would do.

I experienced it. I did something wrong to my friend, but two friends in my class stood up for me. Ella Kriegel and Shelbi Shabol were the ones who stood up for me and also made me have a reason for me to be a lawyer.

I know it takes hard work to be a lawyer, so at school I would like to be a hardworking student. I’d like to thank Ella and Shelbi in Mrs. Joudvalkis’ class for standing up for me.

I want to be a fashion designer. I have a lot of fabric. I have a kit of fashion stuff. It would be cool to be famous.
It would be cool if I could open a shop. I hope I can be a fashion designer when I grow up. Some others would like to be a fashion designer.

What I want to be when I grow up is a dentist. The reason why I want to be a dentist is because they get lots of money, and I like cleaning teeth, so this is my perfect job. Also, I like the way people look after their teeth are cleaned. And that is what I want to be when I grow up.

When I grow up, I want to be a vet. I want to be a vet because I like pets. Dogs are so cute. I went to the vet with my mom. My dog’s eye was red, so we went to the vet. A vet is a doctor for pets. Being a vet is so cool.

When I grow up, I want to be a special-education teacher. This profession interests me because helping special needs children is not only fun and helpful, but to me, it is a passion that I would like to look into more as I get older.

Nothing makes me happier than to see the smiles on the faces of children who were teased because of their needs.
It lights up my day to see them with the widest grin in the world.

An inspirational person in my life is Mrs. Terry, a special-needs teacher at our school. She is so lucky to be able to live what is my dream — to see those children who were thought to be different, but really just have a different way of learning, and being able to see the bring smiles on the children’s faces. And this is exactly why I want to be a special-needs teacher when I grow up.

We want to be doctors, because we get to take care of sick people. We want to be doctors because we want to take care of diseases to help people survive. We want to be doctors because we care about a lot of people. We want to write people’s prescriptions.
