The National Weather Service is predicting it will be mostly cloudy throughout the day Saturday. The professional cyclists are expected to roll into town between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.
The weather service is predicting a 70 percent chance of rain Saturday night, which may affect the Rock the Bike concert, featuring the Gin Blossoms, from 4 to 10 p.m.
The cyclists will begin Stage 7 of the race in Santa Clarita on Sunday at noon, at which time the weather service is predicting a 50 percent chance of showers.
"The bicyclists have been coming down the state and they have encountered some weather and they are pushing through it," city spokeswoman Gail Ortiz said Wednesday. "So far, everything is going to continue rain or shine."
As for the events scheduled throughout the Saturday and Sunday, the city will "do our best to provide some cover," Ortiz said.
Temperatures on Saturday will likely be in the upper 50s at the highest and dip down into the low 40s Saturday night. Sunday could also see highs in the upper 50s.
