Five suspected gang members are at large after stabbing two men in Canyon Country early Sunday morning, a sheriff's official said.

The five Hispanic males punched and kicked two black males, ages 18 and 19, and stabbed the 18-year-old several times, said Lt. Brenda Cambra of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station. The two victims were reportedly escorting two female co-workers home after a house-warming party.

The stabbing victim was rushed to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital where he remains in the intensive care unit, Cambra said. The suspects ransacked one victim's car, Cambra said.

Anyone with information about the incident can contact the Sheriff's Station at (661) 255-1121.
