Organizers postpone due to bad weather

UPDATED Feb. 16:
Santa Clarita food enthusiasts will have to wait a week before they can get their chow on at the Santa Clarita Food Truck Festival.

Due to the rainy weather expected through this weekend, the festival that was planned for this Saturday was pushed back a week.

It is now scheduled to take place at Central Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26.

Forty trucks are expected to attend. Admission is $5 with pre-sale and $10 at the door. A percent of the proceeds will support the Santa Clarita Food Pantry. For more, read tomorrow's Signal.

More than 40 food trucks from Los Angeles County will convene in Central Park in Saugus for the Santa Clarita Food Fest on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pre-sale tickets cost $5 and are available online. Ticket holders may enter the park from noon to 2 p.m. VIP tickets cost $20 and grant admission at 11 a.m.

General admission costs $10 and begins at 2 p.m.

A percentage of the proceeds will benefit the Santa Clarita Pantry and Noah's Bark Animal Rescue.

Central Park is located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus 91350.
