Patricia Bronstrup, of Agua Dulce, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Rachael Gilliam to Justin Ward.

The bride-elect is the sister of Erika Bronstrup and Kelsey Bronstrup, both of Agua Dulce. She is the mother of Kira Gilliam. She is a 1999 graduate of Pilgrim Christian School. She was born in Valencia and grew up in Tujunga.

The groom-elect is the son of Teri Ward, of Valencia and Bruce Ward, of Valencia. He is the brother of Jason and Lindsay Shields, of San Diego and Krista McMullen, of Valencia. He is the father of Natalie Ward. He is a 1998 graduate of Saugus High School and was born and raised in the Santa Clarita Valley and is a self-employed general contractor.

The couple became engaged on June 6. They are planning a September wedding in Laguna Beach.
