Life Academy classes
What:  First Presbyterian Church of Newhall will host the church’s newest Life Academy classes, “The Letters of Paul, Part 1,” which study the Apostle Paul. The five-week course will discuss Paul’s early letters to the Galatians, and First and Second Thessalonians, the Corinthian letters, and his letter to the Romans. The second class, “Cities of Light,” will explore the PBS documentary “City of Light,” which covers the rise and fall of Islam in medieval Spain.
When: 10:45 a.m. Sundays from Jan. 30 through Feb. 27. “Cities of Light” will meet for two Sundays at 12:15 p.m. Jan. 30 and Feb. 6.
