A 60-year-old woman was arrested Saturday at William S. Hart Park after she brandished a knife and shouted racial slurs at a security officer who told her to move her car from a no-parking zone.

The woman got out of her vehicle and walked toward the officer, pointing a knife at him, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Parks Bureau.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing a knife in a threatening manner.

According to arrest records, she was being held Monday at a Lynwood detention center on $30,000 bail.
