"Public participation provides an important link for the resident not only to be heard by their elected officials, but to also influence the decision-making process," Kellar said in a statement.
City officials will give a short presentation on projects, programs, and issues the city will be addressing within each community. A question-and-answersession with Kellar will follow.
The 7 p.m. meetings are planned as follows:
n Oct. 6: Highland Elementary School in Saugus, multi-purpose room, 27332 Catala Ave.
n Oct. 27: Mitchell Elementary School in Canyon Country, multi-purpose room, 16821 Goodvale Road.
n Nov. 3: Newhall Elementary School in Newhall, multi-purpose room, 24607 North Walnut St.
n Nov. 10: Bridgeport Elementary School in Valencia, multi-purpose room, 23670 Newhall Ranch Road.
Each meeting is free and open to the public.
