At 8:30 a.m. M-W-F, we’re movin’ and groovin’, steppin’ and sweatin’ to the beat with ACE Certified Exercise Specialist Linda Bennett.
We’re the new and improved “middle age” 50-plus active adults. The program encompasses functional fitness — moves are designed to simulate ADLs (activities of daily living), and sports moves like golf, tennis and skiing. We do cardiovascular training, muscle- and bone-building, core stabilization, and spatial awareness for balance — all within one hour.
If you’re not quite ready for the fast and furious fitness, at 9:45 a.m. there is a great 30-minute chair class that will suit you. Call the Senior Center at 259-9444, or Linda Bennett at 993-3969.
