He is 72 years old and has fought several deadly Melonama cancers.
So instead of using good judgment and selecting a vice presidential candidate that could immediately assume the office of the president should something happen to him, he chooses a totally inexperienced person that actually admits that she hasn't paid much attention to global politics, let alone the complexities of Washington politics.
It seems that attempting to woo the disaffected Hilary Clinton supporters and the far right pro-lifers is more important than considering the future of this country that he professes to love so dearly.
