Bank of SC makes $1,000 donation

Habitat for Humanity is a $1,000 richer thanks to a donation from Bank of Santa Clarita last week.

Bank officials made the donation during the August 28 grand opening of the Lowe's home improvement store at the Plaza at Golden Valley in Canyon Country.

Bank of Santa Clarita is expected to open a branch in the retail center during the first quarter of 2009.
