Plastic-bag ban just another money-grab

I have been watching with growing interest the public discussion between letter writers Howard Barr and Brian Baker.

Frankly, after more than a half-century on the globe, I am sick and tired of people who seemingly fall all over themselves seeking ways to control their neighbor, and control everyone around them.

Although these societal behavior police posture themselves as “thoughtful,” “caring,” “more educated than thou” people who are trying to help the poor, ignorant, unwashed masses, when one actually looks at the natural result of their misguided  efforts, one sees that they simply are people who are seeking to impose their schemes of enlightenment on the rest of us. As such, I understand Baker’s chagrin.

The real effect of the “plastic bag Nazis” is to serve as shills for the local and state governments who are all too willing to impose fees, taxes and fines as a revenue-generating scheme against the rational convenience of the use of plastic  grocery bags.

In other words, the parasitic government minions always are in favor of any pretext for the creation of a new fees, taxes, and fines against normal people.

Baker is correct. The movement of the local PBN is just a further government-supported funding source for the parasitic class of America; America’s current self-anointed royalty — the politicians.

As a member of the local tea party, I object to this illogical thievery supported by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and the local PBN, including Barr.
