This holiday, community members will shop, dine, socialize and celebrate at many local retail centers developed by one of the city's premier contractors and developers.

In the most recent edition of the Santa Clarita Business Minute, Intertex General Contractors, Inc. highlights how Santa Clarita's business incentive programs and high quality of life has helped the home grown company attract big name dining, lifestyle and shopping retailers like California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), Valley Produce Market, Kabuki Japanese restaurant, YogaWorks and many more.

"Intertex's impact on the local economy is evident by the number of jobs created and dollars spent in development and construction projects valued at more than 1 billion dollars through the years," said Mayor Marsha McLean.

"Thanks to Intertex's investment in local growth and expansion, the community can enjoy a richer quality of life in Santa Clarita."

With beautiful properties like the Bridgeport Marketplace, Intertex has played an integral part in fueling local economic prosperity through the attraction of new businesses and the construction of millions of square feet of retail and office buildings, schools and tenant improvements throughout Santa Clarita.

The Business Minute is a bi-monthly, video campaign designed to promote the city's business friendly practices to L.A. regional CEOs, CFOs, and other decision makers. The goal is to extend the reach of the city's business retention and attraction efforts by visually demonstrating why companies choose Santa Clarita as the best place to do business through testimonials from successful local companies.

The interview with Intertex President Dale Donohoe will be featured throughout media outlets such as ThinkSantaClarita.com, This Week in Santa Clarita, SantaClaritaCityBriefs.com, YouTube, SCVTV Local Television (Time Warner Channel 20, AT&T U-verse Channel 99 and streamed on SCVTV.com), The-Signal.com, and other outlets.
