School spending should be city’s top priority

The City Council is going to pay $622,000 to help complete the renovation of the Canyon Country Jo Ann Darcy Library. I do not understand where all of this money is coming from when we really need it for our schools.

I am a student at Valencia High School, and in some of our classes, there are up to 40 kids in just one class. This disrupts the learning environment, and I believe we are not getting the education we deserve.

There needs to be a change in where our money is going, and by continuously having to buy out the libraries, we will just end up wasting money. If a private organization wants to help, then that is one thing; but the tax dollars should go to schools and solving the more important problems.
