Candlelight Christmas Concerts
What: Grace Baptist Church hosts Candlelight Christmas Concerts, which tells the story of Jesus Christ’s birth and features the musical efforts of the Sanctuary Choir, Praise Orchestra and the Master’s Hands Bell Choir. Tickets are free.
When: Dec. 10 at 8 p.m., Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 12 at 4 p.m.

First Presbyterian Church concert
What: First Presbyterian Church of Newhall will host the church’s presentation of George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah” as part of its Christmas concert. A $20 per person donation is suggested.

Helping AIDS
patients
Who: St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church
What: Members of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and the Lutheran Church of Hope will prepare and distribute bag lunches for AIDS patients at The Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. The program is run by donations and is free to those who wish to volunteer.
When: 9:45 a.m. on the third Thursday of every month
