A man drowned at Castaic Lake on Saturday, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department official.

At around 2:50 p.m., authorities received call of a missing swimmer, according to Michael Pittman, supervising fire dispatcher. Fire Station 149, as well as a helicopter until and search team responded before authorities found the man at 3:52 p.m.

Pittman said he is described as a male adult and was pronounced dead at the scene.
