Jessica Lynn Posner and Scot Lawrence Peeples were wed Aug. 23 at a private estate in Newhall, Calif.

The bride is the daughter of Karla and David Posner of Saugus.

She was attended by Emily Hayes, maid of honor; and Tara Holoter, Samantha Posner, Starlyn Nackos, Veronica Joan Peeples, Michelle Rico and Kimberlee Posner, who served as bridesmaids.

The groom is the son of Stephen K. Peeples and Nadine A. Martini-Peeples of Canyon Country.

His best men were Colin Mason and Ryan Morgan. Groomsmen were Sam Sati, Tim Rehling, Thomas John Glancy, Donald Berger and Robert Posner.

Jamie Burks was the flower girl, and Benjamin Posner the ring-bearer.

Justice Roger Boren officiated the ceremony.

Pianist was Andre ("Marty") Hillman, and Emily Hays served as soloist. Micaela Hicks, cousin of the groom, introduced a sand ceremony.

A reception on the estate grounds for approximately 120 guests immediately followed the wedding ceremony.

The bride was born in Panorama City, Calif. and raised in Saugus. She is sister of Samantha, Robert and Kimberlee Posner. She is a graduate of Saugus High School and attended College of the Canyons. She is office manager at Halverson Insurance in Santa Clarita.

The groom was born in Beverly Hills and raised in Canyon Country. He is the brother of Veronica Joan Peeples. A graduate of Canyon High School, he is a part-time student at College of the Canyons. He is also the full-time interim general manager of Borders Books & Music in Valencia.

The couple met while sophomores in high school, and became engaged in November 2006.

They honeymooned at Disney World in Orlando, Fla. and will make their home in Santa Clarita.
