A Light of Hope Support Center
What: A Light of Hope Support Center offers groups and programs to assist in personal and family recovery from the effects of substance abuse or any other self destructive behaviors.

What: The Blue Star Mothers assembles care packages for military servicemen.

Family Promise SCV
What: Family Promise SCV is an interfaith network serving SCV’s homeless families, assisting parents in finding homes, jobs and other necessities for getting back on their feet.
Need: Cash donations for transportation, printers and the like.

Hart School District Winter Voucher Program
The Hart School District provides blankets, coats and personal hygiene items to homeless students and their families, through a voucher program. More than 300 students are in need this year.
Monetary donations payable to Hart District Homeless (Tax ID #95-6001532), gently used adult and children's coats, blankets, toiletries.

Homeless Shelter
SCV Emergency Winter Shelter, which provides beds, meals, social services, job-search services and medical care for SCV homeless.
Needs: Cash and personal hygiene items for clients.

MEND Poverty
What: Meet Each Need with Dignity,, provides food, clothing, medical care, job skills training and a path to a better life.
Needs: Individuals to contribute to its 2010 giving campaign, "There are new stars shining in the sky tonight!"

Prayer Angels for the Military
What: Prayer Angels for the Military sends care packages to deployed troops, helps them to call home, sends gifts to our wounded warriors and helps military families in need.
Need: Cash for postage, AT&T Global phone cards, white cotton socks, chemically activated hand warmers, beanies, gloves, scarves, 3-4 blade razors, CDs, DVDs, AA and AAA batteries, snacks, sweatshirts and pants with an elastic waist, gift cards for Wal-Mart, Target and grocery stores; and gas cards.

Santa Clarita Senior Center Foundation
What: The Santa Clarita Senior Center Foundation serves local seniors and their families by providing home delivered meals, transportation and day care.

Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry
What: The Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry's mission is to alleviate hunger in the Santa Clarita Valley. The SCV Food Pantry has provided supplemental food, at no charge, to our neighbors in need since 1986 -- (more than 6,500 low-income individuals in 2009 alone -- 43 percent children and 11 percent senior citizens)

SCV Sheriff's Foundation
What: The SCV Sheriff's Foundation raises money for the Santa Clarita Sheriff's Station and has been able to donate a command post, provided Search and Rescue services, lockers for deputies and much-needed safety supplies.
Need: We invite you to "BE OUR STAR" and request a membership packet to help raise money for our local sheriff's department.
