Good luck, Castaic
Signal Staff
The Signal
“New private school upsets neighbors,” The Signal, August 22. Zoning laws dictate that multiple families cannot live in a single-family home, yet during the day neighbors in that Castaic neighborhood must endure 100 kids. Imagine what Back to School Night will look like.
I’m glad I live in the city of Santa Clarita, which could have the same zoning laws, but at least I wouldn’t have to deal with the I-dont-live-up-there-so-I-dont-care mentality of the county Regional Planning Commission.
If the owner of the school/home did everything correctly to accomplish his goal, I can’t fault his right to do so.
I support you Castaic, but good luck with LA County.
