Problems with the system

I may never fly again.

The white-knuckle flight is my normal routine. I had to fly to the St. Louis airport last May for my mom’s funeral.
My wife always makes sure I have a nonstop ticket because if it’s a puddle-jumper and stops in Dallas, I’d probably get off.
So, as you can see, I have a problem with the system already.

As for X-rays, I’ve had so many X-rays for various operations and checkups that I probably glow in the dark. So I’d be reluctant to go through their X-ray machine.

When they give me the basket to put my shoes in, I’ll just continue removing my attire until they tell me to stop. If it’s all the way, so be it. I want them to know I have nothing to hide.

Doesn’t the government have a background check on everybody in this country, hence the no-fly list?

The only ones who have to go through that humiliating inspection are those who don’t have identification of any kind.

Our government, starting at the top, is beginning to worry me.
