As you all know by now, I had a pretty good week last week.

I don't think that I could have asked for things to turn out better.

The last time I left you all I was preparing for my competition at the Olympics to begin. While I was in Beijing I had an opportunity to get some good treatment from the USA team doctors on my Achilles.

I was feeling good enough to get out there and run my first round. I didn't experience any problems during my races and as you know I made it to the finals of the 400. I wasn't in a good position but I still gutted it; running out of lane 9. I ran a heartfelt and sacrificial race.

Before I ran, I told myself that I wanted to worship God as I ran this race and that meant I had to sacrifice my body and every ounce of energy that I had whether I won or lost. Even that sacrifice meant I had to lay my body on the line and commit the famous "dive".

Really, I just leaned extra hard but my legs couldn't catch up. I guess it worked, as I walked away with the bronze medal, and completed the USA sweep.

The next day my body was really hurting. But I had to suck it up, because the relay was starting. I made it through the preliminaries of the 4x400-meter relay, and I knew that from that point on I would be fine.

Then next day it was time for the finals.

We all went out and ran tremendous legs leading every other country from the beginning.

It was a great race. We walked away with the gold medal and Olympic record!

I have enjoyed every moment in China. The people here have been great and very friendly to us. I was happy that my family was able to come to China and see me run.

I really do thank all of you who supported me through this season; it means a lot to me. Well, now I'm off to Europe to run a couple of meets, and then I'll be back in the states.
